Model United Nations (MUN) and Model European Union (MEU) Conference - Day 1 | ||
The MUN EUF student association is planning a MUN and MEU conference comprising two committees: One committee will simulate the Council of the European Union and discuss the situation of refugees in Poland and Hungary. The other committee will simulate UN Women, a United Nations entity working for gender equality and the empowerment of women, and discuss women's access to medical services during health crises. Each committee consists of up to 30 delegates, stemming from universities and high schools in Schleswig-Holstein. | ||

To this end, a subgroup of EMERGE partners has launched, in a first step, the TRIP project seeking to develop, inter alia, a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) scheme for teachers. With Russia's current invasion of Ukraine, Europe is experiencing a major turning point in its peace and security order. In this particularly difficult situation, which is so painful for those affected, we ask what insights are provided by the academic disciplines that deal with Europe. To discuss this question, the Department for European and International Affairs at the Europa-Universität Flensburg is organizing a panel discussion with experts from the fields of European law, political science, philosophy, and minority research on May 10, 2022 at 18.00 in HEL 160.
