The vision of the Digital Learning Campus
The Digital Learning Campus (DLC) is an opportunity for all people in Schleswig-Holstein to participate, learn and shape their personal future, their company and their country: They can practise and develop future skills, establish new networks and work together to develop ideas and projects that generate innovations for the economy and society.
On the one hand, the Digital Learning Campus (DLC) consists of a digital learning and collaboration platform. On the other hand, it is made up of a series of physical learning and collaboration locations networked via the platform, which are located at many university locations in Schleswig-Holstein and elsewhere.
About the DLC Development Hub
The DLC Development Hub (DLC Hub) is the coordinating management unit of the Digital Learning Campus (DLC). The DLC Hub's task is to bring the areas of transfer and networking, the creation of access opportunities and visibility with regard to the offerings of the learning centres and the scientific support of the DLC to life and to create support structures for all those involved in the DLC. The DLC Hub also oversees the optional and hybrid training programme with a methodological-didactic and subject-related focus for prospective DLC trainers.
In its envisaged form, the DLC Hub will consist of a consortium of Europa-Universität Flensburg (EUF), Technische Hochschule Lübeck (THL) and Leibniz-Institut für die Pädagogik der Naturwissenschaften und Mathematik (IPN). The DLC Hub aims to shape the formative pillars in a partnership-based, interdisciplinary and collaborative way.
The three pillars are:
1) Accompanying research and monitoring (IPN),
2) support and transfer (EUF) and
3) design and implementation (THL).
The IPN will therefore focus on collecting data, analysing usage data and experiences and deriving findings for the DLC. The EUF will take on the tasks of support for the learning centres and transfer. Another focus is on the certification programme and trainer training. The THL will provide the DLC booking platform and thus make the learning opportunities visible and accessible. The needs of the learning centres will be taken into account.
From a coordinative and conceptual perspective, the DLC Hub forms the central, representative hub of the DLC, which networks the various actors involved - both in terms of content and structure.
Specifically, the EUF coordinates, manages and networks all DLC learning centres and their consortium partners at a meta-level in the DLC Hub. The aim is to initially work out the thematic orientation and content of the educational programmes offered by the learning locations in order to enable the highest possible degree of transparency about their complementarity and differences, which contributes to strengthening cross-university collaborative work in the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
The following core concerns characterise the activities of the EUF project team in the DLC:
- - Performing interface functions,
- - Provide support and funding,
- - facilitate networking and exchange,
- - to pursue quality assurance,
- - support further development.
