It is intended to provide an overview of funding and employment opportunities which contribute to the promotion of a career in academia.

We will introduce funding opportunities for your own position within national or international research projects (e.g. DFG or Horizon Europe), fellowships such as DFG’s or Thyssens’s Post-Doc Stipend, as well funding for junior research group leaders such as DFG’s Emmy Noether Program. You can find an overview of selected Post-Doc funding opportunities also on our website.

Besides funding opportunities we will briefly outline pathways to a permanent professorship/researcher career. At this event, we will inform you about these offers, provide you the opportunity to get in touch with other Post-Docs and contribute ideas to further strengthen the promotion of Post-Docs at the EUF with the support of the research centres.
