MEWEB – Media of East/West European border traffic in times of the Cold War – is a European network of researchers that investigates the relationship and the border traffic between the two blocs during the Cold War. They focus on infrastructures and media that enabled the formation of European ideas across the Iron Curtain. MEWEB is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. It is headed by Prof. Hedwig Wagner at Europa-Universität Flensburg and consists of 13 European network members. Network Members
