  • A course for those wishing to practice important aspects of English grammar and vocabulary use in an academic context. 3 CPs are available for exchange students on successful completion.

The course is exercise-based with a range of topics including: finite verb forms for present, past & future time; non-finite verb forms and their use in academic texts; verb patterns; passive voice (as an alternative to personal language); sentence structure and linking; clauses (relative, participle etc.); collocations; articles and prepositions. Conversation will be encouraged during the sessions to improve fluency.
