 ell as other interested staff members to this information event. It is int
 ended to provide an overview of funding and employment opportunities which
  contribute to the promotion of a career in academia.  We will introd
 uce funding opportunities for your own position within national or interna
 tional research projects (e.g. DFG or Horizon Europe), fellowships such as
  DFG’s or Thyssens’s Post-Doc Stipend, as well funding for junior rese
 arch group leaders such as DFG’s Emmy Noether Program. You can find an o
 verview of selected Post-Doc funding opportunities also on our website. Be
 sides funding opportunities we will briefly outline pathways to a permanen
 t professorship/researcher career. At this event, we will inform you about
  these offers, provide you the opportunity to get in touch with other Post
 -Docs and contribute ideas to further strengthen the promotion of Post-Doc
 s at the EUF with the support of the research centres. The presentation wi
 ll be in English. The event will be held on campus in RIGA 514. It will al
