DESCRIPTION:The annual Irish Studies & Cultural Theory Summer School w
 ill be taking place again in Flensburg  with the theme “Adaptation 
 and Résistance". This timely topic will bring in the discourses of p
 olitics, history, geography, landscape, art, ecocriticism, gender, genre, 
 and screen/stage adaptation. It will also touch upon fields of study such 
 as sustainability studies, animal studies, folklore studies, media studies
 , film studies, cultural studies, and literary studies. There will also be
  an introductory class to the Irish language!The summer school is being or
 ganized as an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme, for which the EUF part
 nered with the Universities of Cork, Limerick, Prague, Trinity College Dub
 lin, and Charles University Prague. The school is accredited according to 
 the ECTS System (please speak with your programme coordinator regarding co
