European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI)

The M.A. EUS and ECMI have cooperated closely for over a decade.  The partnership is based on a cooperation agreement. ECMI staff provide teaching offers, co-supervision of master theses. M.A. EUS students further benefit from internship offers, common project applications, and workshops.

Institute for Security Policy at Kiel University (ISPK)

M.A. EUS and ISPK have been working together since 2016. ISPK staff provide courses on European security policy to M.A. EUS students and co-supervision of master theses. The cooperation also includes internship offers at the Institute in Kiel.

Akademie Sankelmark/Europe Direct

M.A. EUS and Akademie Sankelmark/Europe Direct have been cooperating since 2012. The partnership involves the organization of conferences, workshops, dedicated formats for students, discussion events, and internship offers.

International partners

Università degli Studi di Catania, Italy

The M.A. EUS and the M.A. GLOPEM (Global Politics and Euro-Mediterranean Relations) in Catania offer a double degree. The double degree with the University of Catania provides the students an opportunity to expand their knowledge about Euro-Mediterranean and international relations. After finishing the programme, students receive the following degrees: Master of Arts/Laurea Magistrale in Global Politics and Euro-Mediterranean Relations (Università degli Studi di Catania) & Master of Arts in European Studies (Europa-Universität Flensburg).

University of Limerick, Ireland

The M.A. EUS and the M.A. European Studies in Limerick offer a double degree. This study period in Limerick provides students with deeper insights into the cultural and linguistic aspects of European integration, as well as with extended possibilities for studying EU politics. After finishing the programme, students will receive the following degrees: Master of Arts European Studies (University of Limerick) & Master of Arts European Studies (Europa-Universität Flensburg).
