Set up your own web conference with Webex Meetings (for students)

As of May 7, 2020, students can use Cisco Webex Meetings to set up their own web conferences (previously only available to lecturers).

Three steps to start using Cisco Webex Meetings for web meetings:

1. Get your automated access email.

2. Click the activation link in the activation e-mail.

3. Open the homepage and START.

Don't be surprised by the Webex log-in process:

In the first step, you must enter your e-mail address and then your normal network login data. Depending on which browser you use, you may then see a data consent form. Simply confirm it by hitting "accept." This is a so-called Shibboleth-authentication [18121].
