About this degree program:

Program profile

European integration, globalization, migration: National and boundaries are falling. Management activities in companies, administrations and organizations are becoming more dynamic, more complex and more demanding. Bachelor of Arts program in International Management at EUF trains students to become highly qualified management professionals in national and international small and large companies.

You can choose between two language concentrations:

  • Danish (German-Danish double degree, Bachelor of Arts / B.A. int.)
  • Spanish (Bachelor of Arts degree)

Within your chosen concentration, you combine language training with business-oriented cultural area studies. Cultural area studies focus on Spain/Latin America or Scandinavia, depending on your language focus. And even before you graduate, in the program you’ll experience interculturality with students from all over the world and in cooperation with the University of Southern Denmark.

Most students spend their fifth semester abroad at one of our numerous partner universities worldwide.

Information for students in the German-Danish double degree program:

Students who select the Danish-language concentration attend classes directly at Syddansk Universitet (SDU) in Sønderborg (DK) two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Classes take place at Europa-Universität in Flensburg the rest of the week.

Students in the Spanish-language concentration can enroll in individual courses at SDU in Sønderborg.

Please note: Classes at SDU are taught in English and take place in Sønderborg (Denmark).

Further information is available on our institute’s web pages about the double degree program.

Career prospects

Starting your career directly after graduation

After completing your bachelor's degree, you have various options for starting your career in a national or international company or organization.

You can enter directly as a generalist in small and medium-sized companies, or start as a trainee with large company. There you will manage various projects, specialize in a functional area, or serve as an assistant to the management.

With its language focus on Danish or Spanish and its interdisciplinary approach, our cross-border bachelor's degree program prepares you perfectly for this career path.

Alternative: Pursuing a master's degree

The bachelor’s degree program also prepares you to enter a master's degree program in economics, especially one with an international focus.

If you choose to go this route, Europa-Universität Flensburg offers you two program options: a master’s degree in International Management Studies – BWL or European Studies.
