Student initiatives are student groups, which encourage contacts between students and pursue both intramural and extramural goals. The student initiatives at Europa-Universität Flensburg are mostly interuniversity initiatives:
On campus theatre enthusiasts have come together to pursue their interests. For them the whole world is a stage. Through a variety of improvisation sessions and performance situations they aim to develop a "theatre collage" under a jointly chosen motto.
The CampusTheater is supported by the Department of Drama of Europa-Universität Flensburg.

The Econautic e.V. association was established in 2005 by ten dedicated students of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. This northernmost student business consulting firm sees itself as a link between students and companies in the region. The main objective of the association is the promotion and expansion of the transfer of knowledge, between science and industry, in the region, on the one hand, and the arrangement and continuous optimization of the consultancy services of the participating "Econauts" on the other.
The project allows students to establish contacts with the business community and managers during their studies. In addition, students can learn and improve their soft skills and presentation skills, not only through project work, but also through free training and workshops.
The Econautic e.V. association offers students of both, the University and the University of Applied Sciences Flensburg the chance to put theoretical knowledge into practice by way of exiting projects.

The MUN Association of Europa-Universität Flensburg e. V. is a debating society, which organizes seminars and debates on campus on United Nations related topics.
The association also the organizes the world's only cross-border Model United Nations Conference, OstseeMUN, which takes place every autumn on the campus of Europa-Universität Flensburg and on the Alsion-Campus of University of Southern Denmark. The multi-day conference simulates the work of the United Nations and of the institutions of the European Union. Formal meetings, votes on resolutions and orders are held and their topics are discussed in detail. There is an event each evening where attendees can get to know each other better.
All the events are exclusively held in English. Your English doesn't have to be perfect, but you shouldn't be afraid to speak English!

ROCK YOUR LIFE! Flensburg trains students to become mentors, who volunteer to assist pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds on their way into working life.

Another way to be involved is through the organizational team, they assist with finances, public relations, marketing or fundraising tasks.
For the students taking part in the ROCK YOUR LIFE! the project is not only a commitment to greater social mobility and equal educational opportunities, but also a chance to acquire practical skills appropriate to their start in working life.
