Europe Week 2019

Europe Week at EUF: Languages. Diversity. Multilingualism.

This year’s Europe Week is dedicated to the topic of "Languages. Diversity. Multilingualism". EUF celebrates the linguistic and cultural diversity in Europe, in the region and on campus.  From 7 to 10 May a programme of lectures, workshops, discussions and other activities explores individual, institutional and regional multilingualism.

Fancy learning a language or studying abroad? Taster courses in different languages invite you to try out a new language. Students of the Local Erasmus Initiative share their experience of studies abroad, foreign exchange students present their home institutions.

In addition, the travelling exhibition "Wie maakt Theater" of the INS (Institut für niederdeutsche Sprache) is on show in the ground-floor foyer of the Helsinki building.
