Everyday topics and situations (people, friendship, heroes, fortune, living, eating, freetime activities and adventure) build the basis for fostering grammar, vocabulary and active speaking.

The grammar-sections within the course are covering among others: verbs and adjuncts, declination, comparative and superlative, connectors, consecutive sentences and modal verbs.

This course is an active course focusing on participation and activity (e.g. discussions, role plays, presentations etc.).

The course covers chapters 1-5 from the course book. The connecting course (B1.2) in the winter semester deals with the following chapters.
