Description

Language of instruction: German and Russian

The online Russian course A 1.2 builds on the content of the basic course A1.1. Thus, the course is suitable for Russian learners who have participated in the A1.1 course or have previous knowledge at A1.1 level. The focus remains on active speaking and understanding. Vocabulary is expanded through practical exercises and new topics.

The following topics are covered in this course:

  • Talking about the place where you live
  • Eating and meals
  • Daily routines
  • Telling the time

The grammar focuses on time indications, possessive pronouns, prepositions, declension (prepositional + genitive) and plural formation of nouns.

The online course takes place once a week via the conference tool Webex. In addition, the course is supported organisationally by the moodle platform. Handouts on all topics as well as working materials and learning activities are uploaded there. The webex link and the moodle password will be sent by email on Monday 22 March.

The course is designed so that participants complete the second sub-level (A1.2) according to the European Framework of Reference in one semester.

During the course you will create a portfolio which, among other things, documents your individual learning progress.

The course book covers chapters 4 to 7.

The online Russian course A 2.3 is suitable for students with a consolidated basic knowledge of Russian.

The following topics are mainly covered in the development of word fields:
     
    Holidays and travel preparations (Путешествие).
    Formulating congratulations (поздравление с праздником)
    Seasons (времена года)
    Environment and nature (окружающая среда и природа)
    Means of transport and media (транспорт и средства массовой информации).    

The following topics form the main focus of the grammar:

Declension of nouns in the plural, dating, subjunctive, conditional, temporal, and conditional clauses, adjective intensification, negative pronouns, direct and indirect speech, and participle.
