Description

The course Danish A1 is suitable for participants with no previous knowledge. The main focus is on teaching the first basic skills of the Danish language.

Using everyday conversation topics and situations (greetings and introductions, nationality and language, food and drink, travel, addresses and numbers), basic knowledge of Danish grammar and vocabulary is taught. When working on word fields, we mainly deal with the following topics: Presentation of the person and making people known (name, nationality, profession or course of study, place of origin, family), hobbies and interests. The grammar focuses on personal pronouns, possessive pronouns, interrogative particles, interrogative words and nominal sentences.

The online language course is designed so that participants complete level A1 in a fortnight. In the following semester, the course Danish A2.1 or A2 can be taken.

The course book covers chapters 1 to 10.

The course takes place both on WebEx and as self-study. We meet daily for 2-3 hours on WebEx and after that the participants move on to the self-study phase.

A language course thrives on people meeting each other. It is therefore particularly important that you participate actively on a regular basis and prepare well. We would like to point out that in an online course, the emphasis in the video presence time is on the classroom conversation, while listening and reading tasks are more self-study. One advantage of online teaching is that you can receive extensive feedback on written performance.

The course consists of 60 lessons. They take place in the form of meetings via Webex. The course is administered via Moodle. There you will find presentations and additional materials. The teacher will send you all log-in data for moodle and webex by e-mail by the first day of class.

Description

The intensive course Danish A2 is suitable for participants with basic knowledge. It builds on the Danish A1 or A1.2 course and uses everyday conversation topics and situations such as directions, camping and holidays, Danish at work, the school and training system in Denmark, descriptions of people, etc. to ensure that previous Danish knowledge is consolidated and expanded.

The focus of the grammar will be on the perfect, preterite, pluperfect, indirect speech, passive, present participle, various pronouns and adjectives.

The language course is designed so that participants reach level A2 in a fortnight. In the following semester, the course Danish B1 or B1.1 can be taken.

The course book covers chapters 11 to 20.
