Description
The Russian course A1.1 is aimed at students without previous knowledge.
Step by step the students learn the Cyrillic alphabet and the basics of Russian grammar (genus of nouns, personal pronouns, conjugation types of verbs). The course focuses on active speaking and comprehension (greeting, presentation, nationality, etc.) so that everyday situations can be mastered in the target language. The following topics are covered in this course:
- Presentation of the person and introduction of people (name, nationality, profession, hobbies)
- Family (family members)
- Housing situation (specify place of residence, specify location)
The course takes place once a week. It is designed in such a way that the participants complete the first partial level (A1.1) according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages in one semester. Chapters 1 to 4 are covered in the course book.

Description
The Russian language course A 1.2 is based on the contents of the basic course A1.1. Thus, the course is suitable for Russian learners who have participated in the A1.1 course or have previous knowledge of the Russian language. Active speaking and comprehension remains in focus. The vocabulary is extended by practical exercises and new topics. The following topics are covered in this course:
- food and meals
- daily routines
- means of transport
- times
The grammar focuses on time indications, prepositions, aspects of animation, tenses of the verb, verbs of movement and reflexive verbs.
The course takes place once a week. The course is designed in such a way that the participants complete the second level (A1.2) according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages in one semester.
Chapters 4 to 7 are covered in the course book.

Description
The Russian course A 1.3 is based on the contents of the course A1.2. Thus the course is suitable for Russian learners who have participated in the A1.2 course or have previous knowledge of the Russian language. Active speaking and comprehension remains in focus. The vocabulary is extended by practical exercises and new topics. The following topics are covered in this course:
- Professional activities and hobbies
- Times and days of the week
- telephone conversations
- food
- directions
The grammar focuses on the past tense. The following topics are covered in the vocabulary section: Please / thank you; apology; approval / rejection; instruction; invitation; suggestion; advice / recommendation; warning; threat; reproach.
The course takes place once a week. The course is designed in such a way that participants complete the third level (A1.3) according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages in one semester.
Chapters 5 to 7 are covered in the course book.
