The "Spanish A1 Language Course" is suitable for students without any previous knowledge. It is about teaching the first basic knowledge of the Spanish language.By means of everyday topics and situations (greetings and introductions, nationality and language, addresses and numbers, etc.) basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary will be taught.The main topics covered in the course are: the Spanish alphabet, character traits and hobbies, tourism and vacations, means of transport and the seasons, colors, clothes and objects.The grammar focuses on: the numbers, the forms of the subject pronoun, the specific article, the demonstrative pronoun, the noun, genus and numerus, the possessive pronoun, describing vacation habits, indicative present tense, the direct and indirect object pronoun.The course takes place with 2 SWS during the semester and is designed in such a way that the participants complete level A1 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages in one semester.

Description
The "Spanish course A2" is suitable for students with some previous knowledge. The course builds on the A1 course. Using everyday conversational topics and situations, the basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary will be developed. The main topics covered in the course are Learning, health, food, professions, the diary, city, historical dates, housing and travel.
The grammar will include the following topics: The indicative present tense of regular verbs, irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, frequency ("siempre, todos los días, muchas veces"), set verbs, the adjectives, the genus of nouns, the impersonal forms with "se", the perfect (formation and use), irregular participles, evaluation, the time and dates, indications with a reference to the future, question words. Then it is about understanding a radio report, giving a mini-presentation, writing and correcting a story, describing a picture and talking about proverbs, etc.The grammar will include the following: Comparisons, "más/menos...que, mejor, peor" superiority, equality, relative clauses, the "indefinido" of regular verbs, differences in the use of perfect and "indefinido", time words of the past, Questions about the past ("cuándo, en que año, cuánto tiempo"), locations, the affirmative imperative, differences in the use of "indefinido" and imperfect, differences in the use of "indefinido", perfect and imperfect.
The course takes place with 4 SWS during the lecture period and is designed so that the participants complete level A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
