Description

Target group:
The three-week intensive course "German B1 Refresher Course" is aimed at students with solid basic and advanced knowledge who wish to prepare for a B2 course. This means that you must have successfully completed the B1 level.

Course content and scope:
We will repeat and practice grammatical structures and vocabulary of the basic level German (A2-B1) as well as the four skills (listening comprehension, speaking, writing and reading). You will also receive tips on how to expand your vocabulary independently. The topics will be selected in consultation with the participants.

The course comprises 60 attendance hours. Attendance is compulsory. You must expect an additional 60 hours of  homework and your own vocabulary work.

Target group:
The two-week intensive course "German B2 Refresher Course" is aimed at students with advanced knowledge who wish to prepare for a C1 course. This means that you must have successfully completed the B2 level.

Course content and scope:
In the first half of the course we will deal intensively with structuring and writing short texts. We will repeat and practice useful grammatical structures and the appropriate German (B2) vocabulary for this exercise. The four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) will also be trained. In the second half we will concentrate on repeating and practicing typical grammatical topics of the B2 level. Further topics can be added in consultation with the participants.

The course consists of 60 attendance hours. Attendance is compulsory. You must expect an additional 60 hours of work for homework and your own vocabulary work.
