Description
The "Spanish A1 Language Course" is suitable for learners without any previous knowledge. It is about teaching the first basic knowledge of the Spanish language.
It is based on everyday conversation topics and situations (greetings and introductions, nationality and language, addresses and numbers, etc.) and is designed to provide a basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary. The main topics covered in the vocabulary development are: the Spanish alphabet, character traits and hobbies, tourism and holidays, transportation and seasons, colours, clothes and objects.
The grammar focuses on: the numbers, the forms of the subject pronoun, the particular article, the demonstrative pronoun, the noun, genus and numerus, the possessive pronoun, describing holiday habits, indicative present, the direct and indirect object pronoun.
The course takes place during the semester with 2 SWS and is designed in such a way that the participants complete level A1 according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages in one semester. Regular and active participation is a prerequisite for successful completion of the course. To do this, it is also necessary to complete homework in order to practice and consolidate what you have learned.

Course description:
In a university context, part of the learning process usually has to take place outside the lecture hall. Therefore, this language course is structured according to the Flipped Classroom principle and offers learners the opportunity to acquire content independently and to use this knowledge in the course: They research a topic, deal with various documents (written texts, videos, audio...), reflect on grammar and vocabulary topics. The aim is to use the attendance time for more intensive collaboration and interaction and to fully exploit this potential for learning the Spanish language.

The "Spanish Course A2.1" is suitable for students with some previous knowledge. The course is based on the A1 course. The aim is to develop the basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary through everyday conversation topics and situations.
The main topics covered in the development of word fields are the following: Learning, health, food, professions and the agenda.
The grammar covers the following topics, among others: The indicative presence of regular verbs, irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, frequency ("siempre, todos los días, muchas veces"), adverbs, adjectives, genus of nouns, impersonal forms with "se", perfect tense (building and usage), irregular participles, evaluation, time and date, future-related information and question words.
The course takes place with 2 SWS during the lecture period and is designed in such a way that the participants complete the first sublevel (A2.1) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The "Spanish A 2.2 Language Course" is suitable for students with some previous knowledge of Spanish. The course is based on the A2.1 course. The basic knowledge of Spanish grammar and vocabulary is developed through everyday conversation topics and situations. The main topics covered during the development of word fields are the following: Learning, city, historical dates, apartment, travel.
The following skills should be acquired and trained: understanding a radio report, making a mini-presentation, writing and correcting a story, describing a picture, talking about proverbs, etc.
The grammar includes the following: Comparisons, "más/menos...que, mejor, peor" superiority, equality, relative clauses, the "indefinido" of regular verbs, differences in the use of perfect tense and "indefinido", questions about the past ("cuándo, en que año, cuánto tiempo"), location, the affirmative imperative, differences in the use of "Indefinido" and imperfect, differences in the use of "Indefinido", perfect tense and imperfect.
The course takes place with 2 SWS during the lecture period and is designed in such a way that the participants complete the second sublevel (A2.2) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The aim is to use the attendance time for more intensive collaboration and interaction and to fully use this potential for learning the Spanish language.
In this intensive course you will acquire conversation skills on familiar topics and will be able to use communicative strategies to talk about the past and the future. You can read general and simple literary texts, but you can also write letters and essays about everyday life.

Target group: Learners who have already attended level B1 but are still uncertain and would like to refresh their knowledge.
The aim is to refresh your existing knowledge of Spanish grammar, vocabulary and speaking by means of everyday topics and situations (situations at work, family, relationships, lifestyles, shopping, holidays and nature).
The main topics covered in the development of word fields are as follows: Professional desires and unusual professions, applications, lifestyles, love, interesting inventions, consumption, complaints, advertising, travel and holidays, city breaks, environment and environmental problems, animals in the city, projects for the environment.
The grammar focuses on the following: future printing, verbs with prepositions and pronoun averbs/question words, reflexive verbs, relative clauses, local prepositions with alternating prepositions, subjunctive present, temporal connectors, temporal prepositions, structure "cuando mas subjunctive", the future, the imperative, the personal forms and the "gerundio".
The course focuses on the active use of language. Using role plays, discussions, presentations and learning games, grammatical topics are repeated as well as everyday and special speaking situations are practiced.
Regular and active participation is a prerequisite for successful completion of the course. To do this, it is also necessary to complete homework in order to practice and consolidate what you have learned.

The grammar course is aimed at Spanish learners who have successfully completed at least level A2. It is also suitable for those who have just completed a B1 course.
In this course we will deal with the most complex grammar topics such as past tense, congruence, modes: Indicative, subjunctive and conditional. Spelling, which is often forgotten in conventional courses, is also covered in this course. We will also work on personal pronouns.
