Target group:The language course "German A1.1" is suitable for students without previous knowledge.Course content:This course is about the acquisition of the first basic knowledge of the German language, which is imparted on the basis of everyday conversation topics and situations.
They learn, for example, to greet each other, to ask for their name, address, telephone number and subject, to talk about their family, to understand the times or to talk about cultural offers, etc.
Regular and active participation is a prerequisite for successful completion of the course. For this, it is also necessary to complete homework in order to practice and consolidate what you have learned.The course comprises 60 attendance hours. Attendance is compulsory. If you wish to have a certificate of achievement, you must not miss more than 12 hours of lessons (20%).You will have to reckon with an additional 60 hours for homework, vocabulary work, presentation preparation and exam preparation.A final exam will be written on the last day of the course.

Target group:
The "German Language Course A2.1" is for students with some previous knowledge of German, who have successfully achieved an A1 level, or have approximately 120 classroom hours of German language instruction and have taken the placement test suggesting participating in an A2.1 class or have successfully completed the previous course with a certificate of achievement.

Course content:
In this course the basic knowledge of German grammar and vocabulary acquired in the A1 course is extended by means of everyday conversation topics and situations.
For example, you will learn to talk about advantages and disadvantages, talk about movies, write a commentary, talk about a song, make a phone call or describe a statistic.
Regular and active participation is required for successful completion of the course. This includes the completion of homework in order to continue practicing and consolidating what has been learned in the classroom.
The course consists of 60 hours of face-to-face training. Attendance is compulsory. If you would like to receive a certificate of achievement, you may not miss more than 12 lessons (20%).

Course content:
The focus of this course is on basic knowledge of the German language, including everyday conversational topics and situations, as well as German grammar, and vocabulary.
For example, you will learn to understand a newspaper article or radio feature, to take notes during a presentation, or to write a contribution in a forum (opinion).
Course participants will participate in games, discussions, and presentations to practice grammatical topics as well as everyday and specific speaking situations.

Course content:
The course consolidates knowledge of German at lower levels and expands to content that is more complex. The focus of this course is on the expansion of vocabulary, written expression, and talking about controversial topics. Students will expand their means of communication and deepen their understanding of grammar.
You will learn, e.g., to take notes systematically, build an argument, write a CV and assign the appropriate subheadings to a text etc.

Course content:
The main goal of the course is to brush up on the already learnt grammar from previously attended courses of the intermediate level (B1) as well as basic grammar of level A2.
Regular and active participation is required for successful completion of the course. This includes the completion of homework in order to continue practicing and consolidating what has already been learnt in the classroom.
The course consists of 30 hours of face-to-face training. Attendance is compulsory. If you would like to receive a certificate of achievement, you may not miss more than 6 lessons (20%).

Zielgruppe:
Der Kurs Deutsch "Hören und Mitschreiben" ist für Studierende am Übergang der Sprachausbildung zum eigentlichen Fachstudium konzipiert. Mindestvoraussetzung zur Teilnahme ist der erfolgreiche Abschluss des B2-Kurses oder ca. 500 Stunden Deutschunterricht und die Empfehlung des Einstufungstests für einen C1-Kurs:

Kursinhalt:
Dieser Kurs soll Sie dabei unterstützen, Ihr Fachstudium sprachlich und methodisch zu bewältigen.
Sie lernen ökonomisches Mitschreiben in Vorlesungen, sowie aktives strukturierendes Hören von wissenschaftlichen Vorträgen und Diskussionen.
Eine regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme sind Voraussetzung für das erfolgreiche Absolvieren des Kurses. Dafür ist ebenfalls das Erledigen von Hausaufgaben notwendig, um das Gelernte weiter zu üben und zu festigen.
Der Kurs umfasst 30 Präsenzstunden. Es besteht Anwesenheitspflicht. Wenn Sie einen Leistungsnachweis erwerben möchten, dürfen Sie nicht mehr als 6 Unterrichtsstunden fehlen (20%).
Sie müssen mit einem zusätzlichen Arbeitsaufwand von weiteren 30 Stunden für Hausaufgaben, eigene Wortschatzarbeit und die Vorbereitung der Abschlussprüfung rechnen.
Am letzten Kurstag findet eine Prüfung statt, bei der Sie zur Aufzeichnung eines Vortrages Aufgaben lösen müssen.
