Description
The Finnish A1.1 course is suitable for participants without previous knowledge. It is primarily about aquiring the first basic knowledge of the Finnish language as well as an insight into the culture of the country.
Topics of the A1.1 course are greetings and introductions, asking for help if you don't understand something, asking for your well-being, asking for your age, address or price, describing people's characteristics, telling about your own family, months, seasons and the weather, and learning useful phrases for dealing with each other.
Grammatically it is about pronunciation, questions, negation, basic numbers, simple verb forms and the first cases.
