Description

The Arabic A1.1 course is suitable for students without previous knowledge. It is primarily about teaching the first basic knowledge of the Arabic language.

On the basis of everyday conversation topics and situations (greeting and introduction; nationality and language; addresses and numbers) basic knowledge of Arabic grammar, vocabulary and writing should be taught. In the development of word fields, the following main topics are covered: Presentation of the person and introduction of persons (name, nationality, profession or study course, place of origin, family), hobbies and interests. The grammar focuses on Arabic letters, personal pronouns, posessive pronouns, question particles, question words and nominal sentences.

Description

The Arabic A1.2 course is suitable for students who have successfully completed the A1.1 course and would like to broaden their knowledge. In this course you will learn how to talk about your daily life as a university student. We will talk about professions and work places, as well as topics of your own interest. Reading, writing and forming sentences in Arabic will be part of the classes and we will learn a lot about the Arab world and culture.

Regular and active participation is a prerequisite for the successful completion of the course. To do this, it is also necessary to complete homework in order to practice and consolidate what you have learned.
