These programs can conveniently fit into your semester break and usually span between one to six weeks. While participation fees differ and usually have to be self-financed, there are some select programs that offer financial assistance. If you are able to earn course credits as part of a Summer/Winter School, ask the relevant person in your program whether it is possible to transfer these credits to EUF (i.e., to have them recognized).

Student teaching internships for Educational Studies students
If you're studying to get your teaching degree, you can do the teaching internship semester which is done during master's studies at a school abroad. The ZfL internship office can inform you about prerequisites, requirements and application procedures. You can also do a graduate internship abroad - that is, a specialized internship during or after your bachelor's degree, or after you finish your master's degree.

This program offers the opportunity to gain practical teaching experience abroad - even for non-teacher training students. Depending on the country of placement, you will support German teachers at foreign schools for five to eleven months, in some countries at universities.
The application deadline is usually in November (USA) or January (other countries).
