Welcome Buddy Program
The Welcome Buddy Program, organized by the International Center and the Local Erasmus Initiative (LEI), brings together EUF students and international degree-seeking or exchange students. Whether it’s having coffee together, getting oriented on campus, finding help with language problems, or participating in International Center events, the Welcome Buddies make it easier for international students to get started with their studies and transition into everyday life in Flensburg. The get-to-know-you meeting of the buddies takes place at the Welcome Breakfast in March/Septmeber.
Registration for the Fall Semester 2024 is not yet possible.

Program starts: March and September; program duration is one semester
Welcome Buddies receive a certificate after the semester ends in recognition of their voluntary commitment to the program.

Study Buddy Program
The Study Buddy Program is a mentoring program for international and German students. It promotes intercultural life at universities in Schleswig-Holstein and fosters contact and exchange between German and international students. The student union (Studentenwerk SH) pairs up two students – one German, one international - based on their interests and language skills.
