Promoting young talents

ICES aims to support young and early-stage academics at EUF working in the field of European Studies.

We provide individualized advice and help find sources of financial support that fit the specific needs of each researcher, whether the goal be to start a doctoral project, develop a research idea, or participate in a qualification program or conference. If a suitable funding source is found, we support students, doctoral students and post-doctoral students in an advisory capacity and assist them during the application phase. Young and early-stage researchers can also contact us to find suitable partners and contacts at EUF. In addition to individual counseling, we seek to strengthen competences and improve the international and interdisciplinary networking of young and early-stage researchers through advanced training, workshops and conferences.
