ICES Fellows

Christopher Thornhill (University of Manchester, Professor of Law)

Christopher Thornhill is a constitutional sociologist and Professor of Law at the University of Manchester. In autumn 2018 he received the Humboldt Research Award for joint research activities with the EUF. Together with Monika Eigmüller and Hauke Brunkhorst, he addresses constitutional sociological issues in several research stays at ICES.

Paolo Cuttita (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow, Université Paris 13)

Paolo was ICES Visiting Fellow from 01.10. until 14.12.18. He received a ICES summer fellowship stipend to write a research application on the topic of EU-Externalization of migration policies through non-state actors.

Fabio Portela (Brazilian Superior Law Court; ICES Visiting Researcher 2019)

Fabio has been visiting researcher in Spring 2019 and worked together with EUF Scholars on topics such as constitutionalism as a societal structure.

Elisabeth Greif (Ass. Prof. JKU Linz, Visiting Professor at ICES in 2020)

Elisabeth Greif is Ass. Professor at the Institut für Legal Gender Studies der JKU Linz. She was Visiting Professor at ICES in 2020.

Darrell Conklin (University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, Visiting Researcher since 2019)

Darrell works as research professor at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU Donostia - San Sebastián and part of the Music Informatics Group, a specialized research group within the Department of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He is visiting researcher at ICES since 2019.
