"War against Ukraine - Changing Perspectives on European Policies and Foreign Relations" - Panel Discussion (in English)
18:00 - 19:30 HEL 160

With Russia's current invasion of Ukraine, Europe is experiencing a major turning point in its peace and security order. In this particularly difficult situation, which is so painful for those affected, we ask what insights are provided by the academic disciplines that deal with Europe. To discuss this question, the Department for European and International Affairs at the Europa-Universität Flensburg is organizing a panel discussion with experts from the fields of European law, political science, philosophy, and minority research on May 10, 2022 at 18.00 in HEL 160. We invite all students, colleagues, and the interested public to enter into an exchange with the panel and each other.

Discussants are:

  • Prof. Dr. Katharina Mangold, Professor for European Law
  • Prof. Dr. Vello Pettai, Director of the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI)
  • Prof. Dr. Uwe Puetter, Professor for Empirical Research on Europe
  • Prof. Dr. Anne Reichold, Professor of Philosophy

Moderation: Prof. Dr. Ulrich Glassmann, Vice President for European and International Affairs

You are obliged to wear a FFP2 mask during the discussion.
