CoalExit

After graduating from high school in 2014, Johannes Probst completed a one-year voluntary service with the ecotourism provider "Kabarole Tours" in Fort Portal, Uganda. Since then, he has been working primarily on a voluntary basis with transformative approaches in development education.

From 2015-2018, he studied Bachelor of Cultural Anthropology and Political Science at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Following this, he was a project assistant in the project "Grenzenlos - Globales Lernen in der beruflichen Bildung" (Global Learning in Vocational Education) of the World University Service e.V. in Wiesbaden.

Since September 2019, he has been studying the Master's programme in Transformation Studies at the European University of Flensburg. The content of his studies and interests are "The Imperial Mode of Living", mobility research on carsharing, postcolonialism as well as care and gender.

Since October 2021, Johannes Probst has been a research assistant in the "CoalExit" project in the Department of Energy and Environmental Management.
