Laboratory

Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering Laboratory

Electrical, Electronic and Information Engineering Laboratory

The "E-Laboratory" (Main building HG 045) concentrates on representing processes and results of the power and information processing. Apart from computers, the workplaces are also equipped with laboratory equipment for power supply and with appropriate measurement technology. In conjunction with a presentation technique generally used at universities, they allow a close connection of theory and practice, even in more theoretical teaching sessions.

Metals and Plastics Technology Workshop

Metals and Plastics Technology Workshop

The Metals and Plastics Technology Workshop (Main building HG 047) offers students of the Department of Engineering and its Didactics the opportunity to implement various basic production processes and to optimize their personal skills by means of any specific projects. Apart from the traditional basic tools of the metal and plastics sector, primary shaping and forming systems as well as appliances, cutting machine tools as well as various measuring and testing tools are also available. This equipment is supplemented by a number of computer workplaces which can be used for research work or for the control of numerically controlled machine tools, such as e.g. CNC milling machines, laser engraving systems and 3D printers.

Metals and Plastics Technology Machinery Room

Metals and Plastics Technology Machinery Room

The machinery room (metals and plastics technology) (Main building HG 048) is equipped with the relevant machine tools (lathes, drilling machines, milling machines, etc.) and is available to all engineering students after successful completion of the production technology or mechanical engineering modules. Any specific regulations can be taken from the workshop rules.

Wood and Plastics Technology Workshop

Wood and Plastics Technology Workshop

The workshop (Main building HG 049) is available to the students for completing their practical work. It is equipped with basic tools and portable machines for wood and plastics processing.
