The Department of International and Institutional Economics

Welcome to the Department of International and Institutional Economics! We are a small research-oriented team working on topics within the field of international economics.

Our research centers around the issue of globalization, and in particular the economic implications of international trade, multinational enterprises, and migration. Our research has been published in leading academic journals and often produces headlines in the international public debate.

Our teaching caters towards Bachelor and Master students enrolled in the institute's international management programs, but also welcomes interested students from other educations (such as the M.A. in European Studies). We offer courses in the basics of microeconomics and macroeconomics, as well as specialized training within the field of international economics.
