The Deutschlandstipendium supports talented and high-achieving students in all subjects at state and state-recognized universities in Germany. In addition to outstanding grades, the Deutschlandstipendium awards students with a high level of social engagement and exceptional personal achievement – such as the experience of having overcome significant personal or educational obstacles.
The scholarship will be awarded without consideration to the applicant’s financial situation, i.e., her or his earned income or level of financial support from third parties, such as parents or relatives.
The Deutschlandstipendium has been open to students at EUF since Fall Semester 2018. In total, 42 students currently receive scholarships of 300 euros per month per award. The funding period is two semesters.
This scholarship is aimed at students who can demonstrate outstanding grades in school and university plus significant achievements either before or during their university studies, and who are either socially committed (e.g., through volunteer work) or have overcome or are facing personal, familial or economic challenges.
