Short Bio:
Dr. González Grandón received her PhD in applied mathematics from Humboldt University Berlin with a DFG excellence scholarship from Berlin Mathematics Research Center MATH+. Her main research areas are stochastic optimization and forecasting time series with applications to renewable energies She also researches on the socio-economic settings for the development of decentralized renewable-powered energy communities in developing countries . She has more than four years of consulting and project management experience in INENSUS GmbH with three years in the area of rural electrification projects in several African countries. She is a senior lecturer of energy economics and energy communities at EUF. She coordinates the international M.Eng. programme Energy and Environmental Management in Developing Countries.
