Description

Regular and active participation is a prerequisite for successful completion of the course. This also requires the completion of homework to further practise and consolidate what has been learned.

Description

Dear students (especially the ones of the study program B.A. International Management),

We would like to make you a unique offer and take the chance to have a look over all the topics of B2 Spanish in order to consolidate and deepen them, to repeat them and also to eliminate any doubts. For this purpose, I invite you to take a journey into the Spanish-speaking world, which will help you to take a renewed look at what you have learned.

Who is the course suitable for?
This course is designed for those who have already had Spanish 2+3 (B2) or higher at IIM (other participants with at least B2 are also welcome) and now wish to review, improve and re-examine what they have learned.

What topics will be covered?
Central will be speaking and interaction, culture and topics of the economy/region and also grammar, which we want to accompany by different media. In particular, we build on a solid B1 base (including basics of the subjunctive, passive voice, all past tenses, etc.) to better understand B2 topics (subjunctive in the past tense, sentence rearrangement, indirect speech, conversations on technical topics, etc.). Likewise, open questions are always encouraged!

How long is the course?
We will have 60 crash course lessons (of 45 minutes each) in addition to the lecture time. Isn´t it nice that some of your weekends are going to start with Spanish? Our classes are always on Fridays (14.00-18.00) and Saturdays (10.00-16.00) so they don't clash with your studies:
1: 25.03 (4 UE) + 26.03 (6 UE)
2: 08.04 (4 UE) + 09.04 (6 UE)
3: 29.04 (4 UE) + 30.04 (6 UE)
4: 13.05 (4 UE) + 14.05 (6 UE)
5: 27.05 (4 UE) + 28.05 (6 UE)
6: 10.06 (4 UE) + 11.06 (6 UE)

How do I prove the language level?
(@IIM:) We just need to know if you have taken Spanish 2/3 this semester or if you have already acquired other skills (for higher semesters, e.g. Spanish 4, etc.).
(@other students) If you are enrolled in another study program, upload a language proof of B2 and above or take the Spanish placement test.

What do I need to bring with me?
A lot of joy, openness and interest in the Spanish language. Teaching materials will be provided.

What is the qualification goal?
With no final exam at the end, all the necessary skills and (cultural) knowledge should be developed/deepened and a differentiated basis for a comprehensive understanding of the language and its usage (proverbs, etc.) should be created.

Join us, because the best investment is the one in yourself! ¡NOS VEMOS PRONTO!
