The Making of Europe from the LGM to 1350: a transdisciplinary synthesis
This lecture incorporates some of the latest research into a restatement of how the languages, cultures and peoples of Europe came together in their current constellation. The level should be comprehensible for BA students, but the content may be of interest to experienced researchers in related fields. The LGM is the Last Glacial Maximum, which means the lecture covers a good 18000 years or so. The complete event will consist of a lecture, coffee break and discussion session.
