Transnational Methods and Models for Self-Evaluation of Non-formal Personal Competences

The project will develop, for the first time, methods for self-evaluation of non-formal competencies as integrative part of CVT measures on a transnational basis.

Beschreibung

The project will develop, for the first time, methods for self-evaluation of non-formal competencies as integrative part of CVT measures on a transnational basis.
Based on an inventory of existing or recently developed attempts for evaluation of non-formal personal competencies the project will develop new methods and curricula models particularly to be used for self-evaluation and for the use by small and medium enterprises. The proposed project will consist of 5 main work sections

  1. Inventory, analysis and evaluation of existing approaches aiming at evaluating non-formal personal competencies based on the starfish-model.
  2. Analysis of requirements towards such an evaluation instrument in the view of the individuals and employers to make it manageable.
  3. Development of concrete methods and simultaneously of a curricula module, that integrates evaluation methods.
  4. Practical realisation and test of evaluation methods and curricula modules in co-operation with the social partners and CVT institutions.
  5. Dissemination activities on regional, national and European level particularly with respect to a contextualisation within the European debate on strategies for validation and certification of non-formal competencies.

Objectives in detail

0. Common understanding and methodological preconditions for the development of methods for self-evaluation on a transnational basis 

  1. Systematic inventory and evaluation of existing accreditation systems 
  2. Requirements towards self-evaluation methods in the view of individuals and employers
  3. Development of self-evaluation methods for curricular modules
  4. Realisation of model-projects and evaluation of the effects of experiences with self-evaluation methods
  5. Guides for using the developed self-evaluation methods within vocational training measures and their evaluation. Conclusions and recommendations of the project with respect to improving CVT structures and existing accreditation systems
